I was a little skeptical about buying "virutas" instead of a whole jamón, but these are genuinely meaty, not dry little scraps. The flavor is deep and nutty, and they're perfect for folding into a warm tortilla or just piling on good bread with a bit of tomato.
The bag was gone in two days — I kept sneaking handfuls straight from the pack. These virutas are cut from the premium 5-star ham, so the texture is rich and melt-in-your-mouth, not dry scraps like other brands I've tried.
Opened the bag for a quick snack and ended up finishing half of it standing at the counter. The pieces are cut unevenly enough to feel hand-carved, and the fat melts just right on the tongue.
