The 20 months in French oak really shows—it's smooth and layered without being heavy, perfect for a slow dinner. I opened it last weekend and it held up beautifully over two nights. This limited-edition Ribera is worth grabbing while it's around.
That 5% Graciano and 5% Garnacha blend gives it a softer, rounder edge than your typical Ribera, yet the 20 months in double French oak still leaves plenty of structure. Opened it last night with lamb chops and the glass kept changing for the better over an hour. Already ordered another bottle.
Opened this last night and the blend of Tempranillo with those small touches of Garnacha and Graciano gives it a roundness I wasn't expecting. Twenty months in French oak brings a soft vanilla edge that lingers nicely. For a roble, this punches way above its price point.
