Vin Flor de Vetus Tinto - AOC Toro

Opened it last night with a simple pasta dinner and the Tinta de Toro really held its own, smooth from the first sip to the last. That DO Toro character comes through without being too heavy, exactly what I was hoping for in a modern red.

The balance on this one is what got me—Tinta de Toro can be a bruiser, but this stays smooth and refined from the first pour to the last glass. Paired it with some manchego and it held up beautifully without overpowering the cheese. Definitely grabbing another bottle for the weekend.
