The 16-month barrel aging really shows—this Reserva is smooth with a deep, layered finish that made my steak dinner feel like a special occasion. The blend of Tempranillo, Graciano, and Maturana tinta gives it a complexity I wasn’t expecting at this price.
Opened it with some trepidation for a Sunday roast, and the Tempranillo, Graciano and Maturana tinta blend just worked—smooth, with the 16 months of barrel giving it a nice round finish that didn’t overpower the lamb.
The 16 months in barrel really show—it's smooth and layered without being over-oaked, and the Graciano adds a nice lift on the finish. We had it with a simple roast chicken and it held up beautifully.
