Poured a glass for friends last night and nobody guessed it was a blanc de noirs — the color is so pale, but the body has that pinot noir depth. Those violet notes really come through on the nose, and it held its bubbles all through dinner.
The violet and red berry aromas are exactly as described, and the bubbles feel lively without being sharp. It’s my new go-to for Sunday brunch with friends.
