The oak aging really comes through on the nose, but it’s the cherry and raspberry notes that steal the show on the palate. Poured a glass with tapas and it paired beautifully, smooth and elegant without being heavy. This one’s earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Opened this after dinner with some aged manchego and the cherry and raspberry notes came through beautifully, backed by that warm oaky spice. Twelve months in barrel really gives it a smooth, elegant finish that made the bottle disappear way too fast.
