Es una de las creaciones de Uvas Felices, un proyecto que aúna vinos de diferentes regiones españolas. Se trata de un vino blanco joven seco elaborado con una combinación de uvas 85% Verdejo y 15% Viura.
The Verdejo-Viura blend gives it a crisp, dry finish that cut through our grilled fish perfectly, and it stayed fresh for two nights after opening. For the price, it's hard to beat a Rueda this clean and refreshing.
Opened it for a casual Friday dinner and the dry, young style was exactly what I wanted—crisp without being sharp, and that 15% Viura definitely rounds out the Verdejo in a way I wasn't expecting. Gone before the food hit the table.
The 85/15 Verdejo and Viura split gives it a nice balance—crisp but not too sharp, with a dry finish that worked perfectly with grilled fish. Decanted it for maybe fifteen minutes and it opened up beautifully. This is my new go-to white for weeknight dinners.
